Md. Sharear Sarker is an Advocate practicing at the Dhaka Bar Association, Bangladesh, since March 9, 2024. He graduated with an LL.B. (Honours) and LL.M. from the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) in 2022 and obtained LLM degree in 2024. His legal practice is focused on litigation, legal drafting, legal research, and client representation across various areas of law.
He has long experiences in legal proceedings, case preparation, and courtroom advocacy. Throughout his academic and professional journey he has maintained a strong commitment to legal scholarship, research, and professional development. His law research interests include constitutional law, human rights, preventive detention, child labour protection, and international environmental law. Mr. Sharear is author of a publication on the protection of the marine environment under international law and has conducted research on child labour and preventive detention in Bangladesh.
In addition to his legal practices, he has actively participated in moot court competitions, debates, legal training programs, workshops, and leadership activities. He was the Champion of the 5th Intra-University Moot Court Competition at UAP, a Quarter-Finalist in the 1st UMSAILS-UAP Inter-University Moot Court Competition 2024, and a participant in the prestigious 10th K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court Competition. His leadership experience includes serving as General Secretary of UAP Law Orators (Debating Club), Vice-President of the UAP Moot Court Club, and Founding Member of the UAP Law Photography Club.
Mr. Sharear has completed specialized training in Clinical Legal Education, Vetting Legal Documents, Legal and Human Rights Studies, Professional Aminship, and advanced computer applications he was also awarded the University Merit Scholarship in recognition of my academic performance. His professional philosophy is rooted in integrity, diligence, and a commitment to justice. He strives to provide effective legal solutions while continuously enhancing my knowledge and skills to serve clients and contribute positively to the legal profession in Bangladesh committed to, “Justice, guided by integrity, and dedicated to providing effective legal solutions.”
